 Colchagua Valley
Located in Colchagua, a sub valley of Rapel, the Vina MontGras’ vineyards are planted 192km west of Santiago and are naturally protected by the coastal range to the west and the Andes Mountain range to the east.
Considerable investment over the past decade and the arrival of winemaker Sven Bruchfeld - formerly of Errazuriz – have allowed the wines of Montgras to grow from strength to strength.
The de Gras by MONTGRAS range of wines that we stock are used primarily for the restaurant trade in the UK, so this is the most likely place you will be able to purchase them for consumption at home!
The range is comprehensive and consumer friendly with merit particularly placed on the reserva and Ninquen range of wines.

| The De Gras Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2009 is a red wine made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown exclusively on MontGras vineyards located in the Colchagua Valley, Chile.
Grapes for this red wine were all carefully selected and handpicked from 14 year old vineyards, before transportation to the MontGras winery.
After vinification 43% of the blend was aged in new American oak for a period of 8 months.

| The grapes for De Gras Chardonnay 2011 are sourced from the Colchagua Valley (75%) and the Casablanca Valley (25%).
Once at Montgras’ state-of-the-art winery the grapes are loaded directly into the press for whole cluster pressing which allows extraction of only the finest quality juice and preserves the fruit flavours.
