Umani Ronchi's Casal di Serra is a "Superiore" white wine made from the Verdicchio grape in the Classico region of the Marche. All grapes are handpicked from the single vineyard 'Casal di Serra'; ripeness is ensured by harvesting slightly later than usual and yields are less than half that which is permitted for Verdicchio. After vinification the wine is matured in stainless steel tanks for 5 months and then bottle aged for a few months prior to its release.
