The San Vincenzo white wine from Anselmi is labelled simply as I.G.T. and is made from a blend of 80% Garganega grapes, 15% Chardonnay and 5% Trebbiano grapes harvested from the San Vincenzo and Capitel vineyards at a yield of 2.7 tons per acre.
The must is fermented for 20 days in temperature controlled, stainless steel tanks and remains on the lees for 6 months.
On the nose the San Vincenzo is crisp and pure with scents of fresh apples, banana and lemon. To the palate the wine is medium-bodied, dry and fresh with notes of citrus fruits, pear and grapefruit.
Anselmi's San Vincenzo is an ideal white wine to have with smoked or grilled fish, shellfish, lobster or even roast chicken.
Anselmi was awarded "A STAR" in Gambero Rosso 2006 for gaining the Tre Bicchieri Award 11 times.
