Jermann’s Pinot Grigio is, without doubt, an iconic Italian white wine. It has been described as the monarch of this highly fashionable category and continues to be the benchmark for premium Pinot Grigio.
Only small volumes of the wine are ever made which enables Silvio Jermann to control the quality of each individual parcel by tending to it meticulously throughout the year. Yields are purposely kept low in order to increase the concentration and grapes are harvested at the optimum ripeness and acidity balance.
The final wine is intense straw yellow in colour with a faint tinge of old rose; beautifully pure, elegant, floral Pinot Grigio, the bouquet is full and fruity. On the palate the wine displays a touch of almonds and vanilla, with a hint of fruit and spice. This is a smooth and dry full-bodied white wine of impeccable character.
