Yering Station Pinot Noir Rosé Extra Dry 2008 - Victoria, Australia

Yering Station Pinot Noir Rosé Extra Dry 2008 - Victoria, Australia
Bin No. YSROSE08
Price: £12.00
The Yering Station Pinot Noir Rosé is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown exclusively on Yering Stations own vineyards.

After careful grape selection in the vineyard the grapes are transported to the winery where they are given 12 - 36 hours contact with skins and then pressed. The juice is transferred directly to French oak barriques for fermentation where the wine is aged on lees, whilst a full natural malo-lactic fermentation occurs.

The final Yering Station Pinot Noir Rosé is light ruby in colour with intense raspberry, cherry and rose aromas. On the palate the wine is rich with fine tannins and surprising depth and length. The complex flavours of red berries, sage and spice make this wine a perfect complement to a wide array of food.

The E.D referred to on the label is Extra Dry re-affirming this Rosé as a dry elegant style of Rosé that perhaps some may not expect from this style of wine!

“This classy 100% Pinot Noir from the heart of Victoria’s Yarra Valley is full of spiced cherry fruit and is great with salmon steaks or tuna” - Jonathan Ray in The Telegraph

The Yering Station Pinot Noir Rosé was also awarded 94 points from James Halliday, the well respected Australian wine commentator.
