The 2008 Quinta do Crasto Douro red wine is a blend of red grape varieties including Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional; all the vines average over twenty years in age and each grape variety is vinified separately.
The final red wine is deep, opaque red in colour with aromas of intense berry fruit with subtle hints of spice. On the palate it is rich, full and concentrated that is well supported by soft tannins and balanced acidity.
