Nicola Bergaglio Gavi di Gavi La Minaia 2006 - Piedmont, Italy

Nicola Bergaglio Gavi di Gavi La Minaia 2006 - Piedmont, Italy
Bin No. LAMINAIA06
Price: £10.50
The vines at Bergaglio are planted at an altitude of 300m above-sea-level with a westerly exposure. The average age of the vines are roughly 30 years old, which are planted at a density of 3800 per hectare, making use of the guyot training system. The vines are not irrigated and are manually harvested.

This Gavi is made from 100% Cortese an indigenous Italian white grape variety. Pale gold in colour, it has a light, fresh, mineral and citrus bouquet. The palate is crisp and dry, with a hint of ripe pears and a complex array of red and green apples, the finish is mouth wateringly refreshing and lengthy.
