This classic Reserva is one of Spain's iconic wines. Tempranillo grapes for the Riscal Reserva are from vines over fifteen years old and these are blended with a small amount of the local varieties Mazuelo and Graciano to yield a truly traditional Reserva.

The wine is aged for around two years in American oak barrels and then for a further year in bottle, prior to its release.

The final wine shows ripe fruit and soft tannins on the palate, with a hint of vanilla on the nose from the American oak.

The blend is 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano and Mazuelo
