The 2004 vintage of the Parker Estate First Growth is a worthy addition to a great line of vintages from this outstanding Coonawarra producer and is the first release since the 2001 vintage. Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (89%) and Merlot (11%) this is a deep crimson red that has the structure and potential to reward careful cellaring. On the nose the wine has rich aromas of blackberries, violets and toasted vanilla oak. The palate is full bodied, structured and firm with complex flavours and integrated tannins resulting in a finish of great length.
