Brothers in Arms Shiraz 2002

Brothers in Arms Shiraz 2002
Bin No. BR.SHIRA02
Price: £21.00
The grapes for the Brothers in Arms Shiraz were all hand harvested exclusively from 10 blocks of the estate's own vineyards based in Langhorne Creek, South Australia. The water for the vineyards comes via a state-of-the-art drip irrigation system from Lake Alexandrina. The shiraz is aged in fifty per cent new oak barriques (80% American and 20% French) for 16 months with the final wine bottled unfined and unfiltered. The resulting shiraz is an explosive style wine packed with powerful fruit. Very deep crimson in colour the Brothers in Arms Shiraz displays aromas of spice, vanilla, blackberry and dark chocolate. The multi-layered palate is well balanced with ripe fruits, fine tannins and acidity. The wine has an abundance of flavour with velvety tannins and a long well-rounded finish.
