Jean-Pierre Grossot

Chablis Jean-Pierre Grossot is a quality-conscious winemaker who is heavily involved in the vineyard throughout the season, which helps him to understand better the potential of the crop when he finally comes to make his wine. Small parcels are vinified in stainless steel tanks and Jean-Pierre knows each batch intimately, giving him unprecedented insight when it comes to the final blending of his wines. Although Jean-Pierre Grossot’s domaine totals some 15ha, the proportion of premier cru holdings is tiny and with a huge worldwide demand for his wines allocation is sadly limited on all his premier cru wines.
