The 2004 chardonnay is matured in oak for eighteen months prior to release. Straw green in colour the wine displays a bouquet of intense grapefruit, linseed and roasted nuts. On the palate the wine is intensely structured and full bodied with citrus fruit flavours well integrated with a chalky lees character. Ideal with shellfish and white meat this wine would cellar for up to five years.
