Steenberg Vineyards
Located in South Africa's premier wine growing region of Constantia Valley, Steenberg is the oldest farm in the region, boasting a colourful history dating back to 1682. With coast-facing slopes cooled by sea breezes, mild temperatures, reliable rainfall and granite ridges, the vineyards of Steenberg are ideally placed to produce cool climate South African wines.
The icon wines of the estate are Semillon and the extremely limited release Magna Carta Sauvignon Blanc, the Bordeaux style white blend. Their philosophy that 'wines are
grown in the vineyard then cared for in the winery' is born out by the excellent quality of their wines and has deservedly earned them the reputation as one of the top wine
farms in the country.
