The ‘MAN’ concept began when three friends had an idea to make a wine that they themselves would love to buy and drink! Good quality, excellent value, and cool packaging; not exactly an epiphany, but enough to motivate them into action.
In order to maintain peace and harmony in the family, the three guy’s took the initials of their wives (Marie, Anette, and Nicky) and told them that “we’re
going to be ‘busy’ most weekends, but it’s for you!”
The Tormentoso wines are a range of premium, vineyard-focused wines produced by the team at MAN Vintners.
"Cabo Tormentoso" (translated as “Stormy Cape” or “Cape of Storms”) is the original name for the Cape of Good Hope given to it by the Portuguese
explorer Bartholomieu Dias who first rounded the Cape in 1488.
